Description: This Sauvignon Blanc with new clonal plantings complimenting our 25 year old original vines, again demonstrates the vivacious personality of cool climate Sauvignon Blanc with an initial grassy herbaceousness to excite the senses, soft sweet passionfruit to fill out the mid palate finishing with clean crisp acid. Stumpy Gully is run by the second generation Zantvoort family, originally from Holland. The vineyard planted in 1989 consists of 10 hectares of vines featuring numerous varietals including the first Peninsula-grown Sangiovese. Stumpy Gully features four distinct labels including Peninsula Panorama which is a fresh style made for early drinking and to complement modern food dishes.
