Description: Using fruit from sister vineyards in Colbinabbin (Heathcote) and aged for 18 months in a mix of new and old French oak barriques prior to bottling to create a wine that is both rich and strong (and high in alcohol). The aromas are of rich black cherry, plum, toasted coconut, milk chocolate, oak and blackcurrant while the flavours are dominated by intense cherry and plum and balanced by a mineral acid and a touch of cassis and vanilla.
