Description: This single vineyard is one of the highest and one of the more exposed sites in the region ensuring a long ripening period which creates high levels of natural acidity which persist through to the wine. Think aromas of baked nuts, white stone fruit and lemon blossom on the nose. Fresh and vibrant on the palate with a textured mid palate of citrus fruits and white nectarine, finishing with a persistent and driving minerality. Polperro and Even Keel wines was started by Sam Coverdale in 2006 who adopts minimal intervention and sustainable practices with sites across Mornington Peninsula, Snowy Mountains and Canberra.
