Description: L’ami sage (meaning “The Wise Friend”) has more palate intensity with enticing, darker red fruit aromas followed by the expected savoury, fleshy and earthy character.  A tad more richness than their other single vineyard Pinot Les Cinq, exhibiting both subtlety and power. The fine, abundant tannin structure builds on the palate and there is generosity, together with a long complex and balanced fresh finish. Super impressive single vineyard Pinot Noir from this leading Mornington grower on Merricks Road. George and Ruth Mihaly are tirelessly dedicated to producing some of this country’s finest Pinot Noir.
