Description: This is a bit of a modern take on Sardinian wines with a bit of extra vibrancy and freshness that you don’t always catch from the region. A blend of mainly Carignan and a touch of locally grown Monica. This wine has a white pepper spice and a quartyz thing going on here with crushed raspberry and strawberry leaping out of the glass. There is a lovely warmth to the fruit, sweet and ripe with a buzz of snappy tannin and lick of fresh acidity. It’s plush and crisp with a gentle grip. Blend is: 50% Carignan, 45% Monica & 5% Sangiovese.
