Description
Characteristics: Raspberry, Spice, Supple
Description: These grapes come from a 1.5 hectare block and are situated in the North of the appellation bordering the 1er Cru of Les Combes and planted in 2017. There is a lot of limestone in the subsoil similar to Crausot. Like its white counterpart, the 2020 Givry Teppe des Chenèves Rouge is a new cuvée from Lumpp, and it’s a brilliant debut vintage. Soaring from the glass with scents of raspberries, cherries and sweet spices, it’s medium-bodied, supple and satiny, with bright acids, melting tannins and a long, perfumed finish. This sensual, ethereal red is a great new addition to the range.
