Desciption: There’s a sympathetic colour in this wine to the Dolcetto, intense, vibrant and alluring. Fletcher extracts a brilliance from these wines, it’s almost dazzling. A fuller palate weight than the dolcetto, as expected. It’s compacted and creamy. Dense, ripe cherry, pretty violet florals and dark cocoa like, fine tannins. If you’ve never dipped your toes into the wines of Piedmont, make this your first foray. A beautiful wine.
