Characteristics: Cherry, Spice, Licorice
Description: 70% Mencía, 20% Caiño, and 10% Espadeiro, from 30 year old vines planted on sandy, alluvial plots at the foot of the Pedralonga slope. Bright violet. Spice-tinged cherry and cassis scents are complemented by suggestions of succulent herbs and licorice. Tight and chewy on the palate, offering bitter cherry and dark berry flavors that show good tension and a hint of spiciness.
