Description: This Spiced Rum is an interpretation on a classic, aged for over three years, one in French oak barrels and two years in ex-bourbon barrels. Following that it has been macerated with a variety of botanicals and flavours such as mountain pepper berry, Peruvian coffee beans, smoked applewood and South American Tonka beans to produce a unique and cinnamon-free rum! Strong aromas of floral pepperberry, citrus and marzipan give way to a pleasant mid palate of cherry, marzipan, coffee and sweet vanilla custard ending in a long oaky vanilla finish with just a touch of smoke. Designed to be mixed with light tonic or soda or subsituted for whisky and served neat or on the rocks.
